Hey PETA, Infertility is Not a Joke!

Apr 8 2011 in Fertility in the News by Nancy

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) launched a publicity campaign/contest on March 31, 2011 offering a free vasectomy to a man who spays or neuters his pet during the month of April “in honor of” during National Infertility Awareness Week. Instead of honoring this community, PETA has decided that it’s acceptable to ridicule, devalue, and trivialize the infertility patient community experience in the name of promoting responsible pet-ownership.

Together as a 7.3 million member infertility community we can join Keiko Zoli in her petition to end this campaign’s connection to NIAW as well as receive a formal apology.

We urge you to visit the link below where you can find further information as well as sign the current petition:

UPDATE: 4/4/2011 @ 9:22 PM:
PETA has officially removed all ties to their event and NIAW.

This just proves, your voice CAN make a difference!
